XVR HD over Coax
If you are not real handy and understand basic networking, I would recommend finding a experienced installer. If you are replacing a existing system with coax already installed it can be accomplished much easier. There are many aspects of a complete install that can be challenging unless you are experienced. This system is plug and play for the most part. To get the full benefit of the 4k system you will need a 4k monitor to connect directly to your DVR. Unfortunately channel 1 has already failed on my unit. I'm running 8 cameras on the 16 channel DVR so I simply moved the channel to another. Still learning the software but it is user friendly. Lots of support available. The downloadable user manual and supplied owner's manual are very helpful. The website and their you-tube channel also offer lots of information, plus you can call and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I gave this 4 stars for Channel 1 not working correctly. Overall I'm pleased with the performance and speed over my old system.
